SCHOLARSHIP AUDITIONS

String Faculty | String Opportunities at Luther | Ensemble Repertoire | Recordings | String Study at Luther

Generous scholarships are available to both music majors and non-majors.  Please contact the professor of your instrument directly if you have questions about auditioning for a string scholarship or studying strings at Luther College.  The music faculty requires that each incoming scholarship candidate arrange an audition. Auditions must take place prior to March 16 each year. Prospective students in their senior year of high school may schedule an audition through the Admissions Department (1-800-458-8437) at any time during the academic year before the deadline.  If the distance you live from Luther makes auditioning on campus impractical, the music faculty will accept a high-quality CD, cassette or video recording of a solo, etude, or recital. In any case, scholarship candidates should not pass up opportunities to audition.  For more information, visit the Music Department’s website at http://music.luther.edu
