Check List for a Speech of Self-introduction

(This is also the grade form that will be used -- up to 5 points for each item)

I have narrowed my topic to one thing that best defines me as an individual.
My introduction creates attention and interest.
My introduction previews the main point(s) of my speech.
The body of my speech contains one, two, or three main points.
Each main point of my speech is supported by either facts and figures, examples, or narratives.
My conclusion contains a summary that recaps my message.
I end my speech with concluding remarks that leave the audience with something to remember.
I stood up straight, without fidgeting, and delivered my speech in a clear voice.
I attempted to make solid eye contact with every member of my audience.
My presentation created a positive æthos.
